Comrogen Content Management (CMS)

The cms sub-system is used to create content that is used in content pages and snippets. Examples of CMS pages are: About Us, Privacy Policy, Security Policy, and Returns. Comrogen’s CMS allows admins to create full page content as well as snippets that can be injected into e-commerce pages like categories, products, and product groups. CMS content includes options for hierarchy, e.g. content may be set to parent or child and Comrogen includes supports for an unlimited levels of taxonomy (e.g. Parent -> Child -> Grandchild), access permissions based on customer level as well as SEO tools.

Content inside the CMS includes full support for SEO meta-tags such as Meta-Name, Meta-Keywords, Meta-Description, etcetera and also includes support for multi-language (locales). A built in HTML5 compliant editor is included so that content authors can create content as needed (generally we recommend using the source code editor to code directly in HTML 5).

Comrogen allows access control of content, admins can specify access rights to User Groups that have access to content. Access control will stop non privileged users from being able to view this information if they are not logged in with proper access rights.

As content is generally static and not changed frequently, Comrogen allows admin to cache output so that information is kept in memory instead of requiring a database call to retrieve data. This increases delivery speed and reduces resource consumption on this host server. In case content must be delivered live; admins can set override options to exempt that content from being cached.
