Comrogen supports various media formats such as images, documents (pdf/doc/xml), videos, and audio.The Media Manager keeps a record of all media uploaded at the file system level and the database level. Administrators can view all uploaded media in the media manager pertaining to products, product groups, categories, attributes, warehouses, and other subsystems inside the media manager. The media manager also supports reporting tools such as creating a list of products that are missing images.
Comrogen includes a redirect repository system where admins can setup url redirects to ensure customers have working links on your website. This is particularly useful when information has been migrated from another cart where product, category, content and other urls have been indexed by search engines; the redirect system will ensure that these links are properly routed to the correct url residing on the comrogen system.
For bulk operations, the data exchange allows importing and exporting url redirects in bulk via csv/spreadsheet file.
Comrogen includes advanced css, javascript and HTML rendering options, these include minification and unification and support for microdata. The rendering and output engine allows admins to combine multiple javascript or css files into a combined minified file so that it decreases the file size and ensures fast delivery. HTML output may be also be minified to decrease output file size.
The Rendering and Output system can be configured at the template, product, product group, category, shopping cart/checkout and content level.
Comrogen includes support for site wide captcha interaction; captcha systems are used to ensure that site visitors are not bots (ai controlled programs pretending to be users) and are a popular way to ensure websites are not spammed.
Comrogen includes the default ASP.NET captcha system and also comes bundled with Google’s Recaptcha system. Custom captcha systems can be installed and be made available to site components and plugins.
Customizing URL structure is a breeze with the flexible URL Management system in Comrogen. URLs may be customized across all entities including product, product group, category, content, and plugins. Delimiters, page extensions (e.g. .html, .aspx or none), locale settings (e.g. en-us), and structure order may be set to suite the site's requirements
The URL Management system supports multiple locales so you can save urls in the language corresponding to the entity in question. If you need to export all URLs in the system you can use the data exchange system to export them in a spreadsheet format.
