Shopping Lists & Quotes

Comrogen includes a robust shopping list system that includes many functions:

  • Shopping lists or wishlists: providers users the ability to save items for purchase in the future.
  • Gift Registry: shopping list(s) may be emailed to a friends/family so they can purchase these for you (e.g. baby shower list).
  • Build list: used commonly for parts that are needed to complete a project, e.g. build a computer: this list would normally include all the items needed to build a PC.
  • Quote list: used in cases where a customer wishes to get a quoted price directly from the store owner.
  • Subscription list: used when an item or a group of items are purchased and the system is instructed to re-order these items at the interval specified by the buyer (e.g. Grocery stores where buyers request weekly deliveries of Milk and Eggs, or prescription drugs, disposable contacts, etcetera).
Shopping Lists

Comrogen allows customers to request quotes from store admins; this process involves selecting items and adding them to a quote shopping list. The quote is reviewed by admins and may be approved with a price they specify. With quotes, admins have full control over pricing and may set a price for the entire order or for individual items. Pricing for fulfillment can also be set which includes shipping and any supplemental charges. After a quote has been prepared, the customer is notified via email with a special link that allows them to pay for the quote and generate an order. Quotes can also have deadlines and can be used by back-office plugins such as Quickbooks (where they are listed as estimates).

Distributor Management

Note: Both customers and admins have the ability to decline a quote or request a revision, these options can be adjusted as needed in the comrogen system configuration.
